Angie Harmon has been an American actress, model, and television personality over a number of years. She began modeling, however once she was recognized internationally, she made the decision to attempt acting. In 1995, she began acting with a television show known as 'Baywatch Nights. In addition to voice work Harmon voiced an animated version of the film 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Harmon quit TV shows and focused on movies at the beginning of 2000. Then, in the mid 2000s she returned to TV shows after appearing in a number of movies. One of only a few actresses in 2008 to have discretely photographed naked for the magazine Allure. Her main work is in the role of Detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. In her role as Detective Jane Rizzoli, she's been well-received, and has received numerous awards. Angie Harmon has been nominated for various times throughout the years, and has won few awards for her outstanding performances.
